Release From Persimmon Homes – October 17 One of the biggest junior football clubs in Lincolnshire has managed to win big after receiving a £750 donation from a national housebuilder. Greenbank Crusaders U15s Football Team were handed the cash gift by Persimmon Homes Nottingham as part of their Healthy Communities initiative which is aimed at amateur sports teams and individuals aged 21 years and under. Persimmon will hand out £750 to either an individual or sports team in the area with the money to be spent on sports kit, equipment, coaching or facilities.

The Greenbank Committee wishes to take this opportunity to reinforce our stance that, as a club, we have a zero-tolerance attitude to any players, spectators or coaches that are seen to be in breach of FA Respect Guidelines. The Committee has been made aware of a few issues over recent weeks, which are not befitting of a club that is both FA Charter Standard and the reigning Club Of The Year, and are dealing with these issues immediately. We would like to remind all that breaching FA Respect Guidelines can result in the individual, team or even club being removed from the league. 

Over the summer Greenbank gratefully received a junior football kit as a result of attaining our FA Charter Standard Club accreditation for the following season. Following a recent Committee meeting, it was decided that we donate the football kit to a local school. Therefore, the community donation of the football kit took place this morning to Leslie Manser Primary School. It was gratefully received by head teacher Adrian Jones who thanked the club for their contribution. We hope you have many successful games in your new kit.
