Club Update – June 2020

Hi all,

It has been a while since we last saw some football. We hope you have all remained safe and well and we look forward to seeing you very soon.

We had our AGM last night, so we thought it would be a good time to touch base with you and let you know what we’ve been up to as we’ve been pretty busy!!

Club Achievements

Lincolnshire FA Awards

We had two nominations for the Lincolnshire Football Association Awards. Firstly, a big congratulations to Kev McKinstry who was nominated for the Coach of the Year award. A great endorsement of the work that goes in to running a grassroots club.

We’re also delighted to be nominated for Lincolnshire Club of the Year, narrowly missing out to Holbeach United, congratulations to them!

Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Donation

As you will have seen we offered a partial refund due to the early curtailment of last season. However, we also provided an opportunity, for those who wished too, to donate to the Air Ambulance, given our Annual Ball was due to raise money for the same fund. We were delighted with the responses, leading to a £3,000 donation being gratefully received by the LNAACT!

Updated Equipment

The committee sanctioned significant investment into equipment just prior to the lockdown, resulting in the purchase of new portable goals, improving both training provisions, as well as match days where we will now have the opportunity to implement some annual pitch rotation to provide good quality pitches year in, year out.


Our new clubhouse is all but ready to go, as and when we are able to use it! We expect to do a grand opening of this, so we won’t spoil that too much!


Following on from last night’s AGM, the club can confirm that all of the Committee will be standing for a further year. Look out for more details on this, including new ID cards, ways to contact, Handbooks and as you may already see, a slightly new look website! For clarity, your 2020/21 season committee is:

We are also delighted to welcome on board Jackie Atkins as our Admin Manager. Jackie joins us along side her various other roles in the community including the Lady Imps Supporters Association (L.I.S.A) of Lincoln City.

We are also delighted to confirm that our fees for the coming season will remain the same as last season. Until we are told otherwise, we are preparing as normal, although we realise this may well change, at which point we will communicate to you all how this affects things.

2020/21 Registration

The league are implementing a new registration system for the coming season, which requires a parent of each child to obtain a FAN number. Visit to get yours! Look out for more communications regarding this soon!
